The VideoGameCartoonPolice (VGCP) was a GoAnimate-adjacent group created by FireMarioFireLuigi65 in late 2012 to oppose the UTubeTrollPolice.[1] The VGCP is notable for being the first group to copy the style and mannerisms of the UTTP, which would be a common theme among anti-UTTP groups going forward, ranking second out of dozens of future groups involved in the "Good User / Bad User" flame war in the GoAnimate/Vyond community.
This was the starting point for Stephen Larson's involvement in the UTubeTrollPolice, who joined the UTTP before moving over to the VGCP in 2013, then returning back to the UTTP. Similarly, other former members of the VideoGameCartoonPolice often had the common characteristic of being incredibly young children, making them easy targets for the trolls they wanted to oppose.
Although the VGCP has been officially disbanded for over a decade, accounts affiliating themselves with the group were continually being created within the GoAnimate sphere. After Anime Sucks revived the UTubeTrollPolice and got attention from mainstream YouTube in 2023, several attempted revival discord servers based on VGCP and other UTTP-related groups have been made with comparatively little relevance.
