The VideoGameCartoonPolice (VGCP) was a GoAnimate-adjacent group created by OfficerLuigi in 2012 to oppose the early UtubeTrollPolice. The VGCP is notable for being the first group to copy the style and mannerisms of the UTTP, ranking second out of potentially thousands of alphabet soup groups involved in the "GoodUserBadUser" flame war in the GoAnimate/Vyond community.
This was the starting point for Stephen Larson's involvement in the UtubeTrollPolice, who joined VGCP before moving over to the UTTP in 2013. Similarly, other former members of the VideoGameCartoonPolice often had the common characteristic of being low functioning on the Autism spectrum, making them easy targets for the trolls they wanted to oppose.
Although the VGCP has been officially disbanded for over a decade, accounts affiliating themselves with the group were continually being created within the GoAnimate sphere. After Anime Sucks revived the UtubeTrollPolice and got attention from mainstream YouTube in 2023, several attempted revival discord servers based on VGCP and other UTTP-related groups have been made with comparatively little relevance.
